The Fuller Center for Housing of Greater Atlanta is renovating entire streets in the Lakewood Heights community in South Atlanta. In partnership with Lakewood Heights Civic Association and Sustainable Lakewood, the Fuller Center for Housing of Greater Atlanta has partnered with teams from Heery International, the Urban Design Commission, the Atlanta Development Authority, Home Depot, Ebenezer Baptist Church, and Central Congregational Church of Christ to renovate a home for a new homeowner and repairs of six homes on Gould Street and Oak Knoll. As a recipient of a grant from Atlanta Renewal CoRA, The Fuller Center for Housing of Greater Atlanta, Inc. started its five year commitment to the community. As part of our commitment, we will be integrating many “green” materials and techniques to obtain EarthCraft-certification for those homes that we acquire.
You can join us and participate in several ways. You can join us for work days, donate building materials to assist us with the work, adopt a room, host a “housewarming party”.
